Digital continued to be the radio industry’s fastest-growing segment, with revenues climbing 9% compared to the first three months of 2012. Online revenue totaled $179 million, setting a new record as the industry’s best-ever first quarter for digital sales. But total spot revenue falls in choppy first quarter.
